JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• Acting as a core member of Product Development team, being part of the product development activities required for Innovation, Renovation and 5S projects.
• Preparation of formulations in laboratory and carry out stability and compatibility tests as per standard operation procedures.
• Make sure all formulation development activities recorded in to Unilever’s digital laboratory management systems.
• Take active role on MoH registration activities and be part of regulatory activities.
• Lead all procurement activities for the team through Coupa system.
• Make sure all laboratory activities carried out as per Unilever safety standards.
• Accountable for the routine maintenance of analytical instruments, keeping track of consumables and required calibration activities.
• Be responsible on operational R&D activities like specification creation, recording product information in to digital systems etc..
• Leading SDS preparation activities for category products

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Degree in vocational school (equivalent of high school), preferably in chemistry.
• +5 year of experience in R&D functions focused mainly on operational activities preferably in Beauty and Personal Care industry.
• Product development experience in hair care products is a plus.
• Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders, including cross-functional colleagues, external partners, and those from non-technical backgrounds.
• Flexibility in travel.
• Able to work independently or with limited supervision, have strong technical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Agile mindset with can-do attitude and ability to adapt into different circumstances.
