What you’ll do
As a Senior Security by Design Engineer specializing in DevSecOps, Application Security, and Security Architecture, you will lead the design and implementation of robust security measures, ensuring the integrity and resilience of our digital assets from the design phase. Your focus on proactive risk management and seamless security integration into development processes will be instrumental in fortifying our organization against evolving cyber threats.
More specifically you will:
• DevSecOps Leadership: Lead the integration of security practices into the DevOps lifecycle, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and secure coding across development teams.
• Application Security Assurance: Implement and oversee comprehensive application security programs, conducting thorough assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability management to mitigate risks and ensure the resilience of our software solutions.
• Security Architecture Design: Architect, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks for our systems, networks, and applications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Threat Intelligence and Mitigation: Be at the forefront of emerging cyber threats, analyze their potential impact, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, development, and operations teams to drive a holistic security approach, providing expertise, guidance, and training to ensure the organization's security posture remains vigilant and adaptive in the face of evolving cyber threats.
Who you are
• Experience in Cyber Security field (typically 3+ years) ideally with proven expertise in DevSecOps initiatives, securing CI/CD pipelines and secure coding within development teams
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing comprehensive application security programs, conducting assessments, code reviews, and managing vulnerabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, coaching, and collaboration skills
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or other related field
