Senior DevOps Engineer

Your day to day:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for streamlining the software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in test, dev and production. You will use and incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers to do what we do best – to innovate.

You will also help us identify new opportunities to build software solutions for our customers at the best cost and improve products in the enterprise space while embedding your DevOps mindset into the ways of working, by implementing automation and tightening feedback loops.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

• Design, develop, maintain, test, and improve software infrastructure for our public cloud estate (AWS and Azure).
• Design, implement and maintain strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effecting utilization of cloud resources
• Work with international, cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings
• Optimize performance to spend where you need to and redistribute resources (hands-on)
• Offer technical expertise in terms of performance, resilience, best practices and security of cloud infrastructure.
• Automate new builds and deployments (Terraform).

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including knowledge of pricing and cost structure.
• Working experience in cloud infrastructure, containerization and managing effective Docker containers lifecycle through full automation from development to production.
• Good experience with implementation of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery for open source & commercial, proprietary software.
• Understanding of large production scale, multi-tiered systems architecture and micro services management principles.
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
