Role Description:

The Product Owner will be highly effective at managing stakeholder relationships and backlog delivery while working within a Scaled Agile Framework. The Product Owner is expected to be an excellent communicator and be able to prioritise business and customer needs to deliver maximum value to the organisation.

As a Product Owner, you play a critical role in ensuring that our product roadmap is aligned with the company's strategic objectives, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for new feature development, continuous improvement, and the definition and implementation of the development of Pulse Connect to new markets with the IT Hubs.

The Product Owner acts as the voice of the customer via internal and external business stakeholder representation, responsible for ensuring that a variety of delivery teams with differing methodological approaches deliver value to the business according to the outcome vision and overarching product/portfolio strategy. This role is responsible for the definition of customer-centric items or user stories ranking, prioritizing, and adding them to the team backlog. This role will work closely with the Product Manager and Agile Delivery Manager in coordinating day-to-day activities such as planning to ensure collaboration and effective delivery of Features and User Stories against commercial and company objectives, whilst also holding responsibility for defining the product development roadmap to deliver value back into the business and our customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

o Creation, ownership, and maintenance of the product development backlog ensuring that the items follow the Epic, Feature and User Story Hierarchy and are aligned with the product vision and strategy defined by key business stakeholders.
o Prioritising the product backlog based on maximising time to value for our customers, ensuring that all items are clearly defined with acceptance criteria, estimated and planned into the relevant planning increment(s).
o Collaborating with the product development squad, business stakeholders, the Product Manager and Agile Delivery Manager to ensure that the product backlog is understood, and the team have the necessary information to deliver the development roadmap.
o Continuously evaluating the planning increment and the feedback received from stakeholders and customers and adjusting the product backlog and roadmap accordingly.
o Work with the team to ensure that the items planned for delivery within each planning increment are delivered on time, and with high quality.
o Acting as the primary point of contact for the development team for all product-related questions and clarifications.
o Maintaining a good understanding of the products and be able to communicate this effectively to the team and wider stakeholder community.
o With specific focus in supporting Vodafone’s multi product proposition Vodafone Pulse Connect as it pivots to new markets with the IT Hubs.
