What you’ll do

Being part of an agile team, the Product Owner provides the vision and direction to the Scrum team throughout the development lifecycle. Managing stakeholders and market needs the Product Owner is responsible in aligning the team to deliver top notch features, market value and increase the customer satisfaction and other related KPIs of Marketplace. The Product Owner’s primary line of work will be extending Vodafone Business digital presence, to allow the evolution of an enhanced product portfolio, including IoT, ICT, Security, SDN and SaaS products by driving Marketplace development.

• Marketplace Management: Oversee the marketplace for business products, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. & Product Acquisition and In-Life Journey: Define and optimize the end-to-end customer journey from acquisition through in-life management.
• Campaign Management: Develop and execute strategic campaigns to drive the adoption and growth of business products.
• Group Digital Projects Oversight: Provide oversight for group digital projects affecting the country, ensuring alignment with local market needs and strategic goals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and technical teams, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure product alignment with business objectives.
• Product Vision and Roadmap: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and market demands.
• Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and feasibility of requirements while also collaborate with development teams during to define clear user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features within the sprint cycle
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and ensure the products remain competitive and relevant.
• Track and analyse product performance metrics, using insights to inform future development and improvements. Define product vision and strategy, road-map and growth opportunities according to stakeholders and market needs
• Develop journeys that are related with the web channel and identify synergies with squads (ie subscription mechanisms, Click 2 call forms, eligibility tools etc.)
• Approve the final release plan and accepts all deliverables against defined user stories and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with Product Managers, Solution Designers and Business analysts to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog, manage the backlog throughout iterations, plan and elaborate user stories and work with UI/UX designer to outline customer journeys
• Lead with the Agile Portfolio Manager to pick up and plan product release dates and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
• Work with Business Analysts on the analysis of features and product backlog increments and mitigate impediments with Scrum master and impact successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
• Define and track Objective Key Results (OKRs) and KPIs as part of the quarterly business reviews (QBR) process.

Who you are

Core competencies, experience & knowledge:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field
• Two or more years of experience in developing a digital product.
• Experience working with internal and external business partners, driving and completing concurrent projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in digital product development lifecycle from insight to launch and aftermarket support.
• Understanding of fundamentals of software development processes and procedures, as well as supporting systems and architecture.
• Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry strongly preferred.
• JIRA/Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent experience preferred.
Behaviours and Other competencies:
• Experience working with agile methodologies / in agile teams strongly preferred.
• Strong facilitation and organization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal. communications skills, with both technical and business audiences.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills, with high-levels of creativity.
