Role Purpose:
The role of Consumer Credit Product Manager at Vodafone Egypt it to lead the strategy planning and execution for consumer credit products, collaborating cross-functionally to develop and manage consumer credit banking products with key focus on customer experience and product growth.
Responsibilities:
• Drives the department’s strategic planning process, business plan development, budget targets, and performance metrics.
• Coach, mentor and provide development opportunities for team members. Directs development of consumer lending products and programs in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Finance, IS, and Compliance areas.
• Responsible for managing the “decision engine” within the Loan Origination System (LOS), which allows for the instant approval or denial of loans.
• Reviews and approves underwriting that would require a senior leader approval or program exceptions.
• Analyzes trends and risks within the portfolio and develops strategies in alignment with the organization’s risk tolerance.
• Establishes policies and procedures for consumer lending and reviews exceptions to policies, programs, and pricing as required.
• Develops and maintains pricing models and strategies in alignment with Pricing Committee objectives
• Provides overall vendor management functions critical to consumer lending including, contract management, performance monitoring, and SLA definition and management.
• Provides a team capable of carrying out goals and objectives.
• Define and monitor KPIs to assess the success and impact of consumer credit products with key focus on revenue & growth.
• Ensure adherence to country and industry regulations on corporate credit & banking financial services
• Work closely with the FS consumer team and cross-functional teams (design, technology, marketing, compliance) to enhance product features and experiences based on user feedback and data.
• Oversee the management & Analysis of credit risk, interest rate risk, compliance & regulation risk in the product portfolio.
Market & Competitive Positioning:
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide product features and innovation.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
Skills Required:
● 8-12 years of experience in the financial services/banking industry.
● In-depth knowledge of the Egyptian banking market.
● Experience in banking commercial management, and consumer credit.
● Background in Banking, digital fintech, and/or consumer credit.
● Corporate credit & deposits experience is an advantage.
● Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
● Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive product decisions.
● Understanding of consumer behavior, financial products, and digital trends in financial services.
● Expertise in product lifecycle management and quantitative data analysis.
● Deep understanding of digital business sales/marketing and financial constructs.

● Awareness of new technologies and global service delivery trends.
● Excellent commercial insight and attention to detail.
● Proven ability to deliver through others to meet business objectives.
Technical/Professional Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are an advantage
● Corporate Finance Credit Professional Certificate (NYIF) is a plus.
