Role Purpose
Accountable for leading Vodafone M&A projects from a Technology (EVO) perspective. This role supports projects in the portfolio of mayor M&A projects. These projects can have various technical scenarios depending on the nature of the M&A deal:
- System carve Out using SAP SLO services or other SLO service providers
- Balance sheet Spin Off of Vodafone business units to form new legal entities
- Data extraction for divested entities
- Mergers of different dimensions: this can be mergers of mayor operating companies or smaller operational mergers to optimize the Vodafone portfolio of legal entities.
The EVO M&A Product Portfolio Manager is accountable for the end to end demand, design, build and deploy of the required changes to execute M&A activities. This role is a senior product manager managing the full M&A lifecycle and critical senior business relationships and leadership of projects.
What you’ll do
- Accountable E2E for all EVO related aspects in M&A projects. Ensuring the integration of companies and exits of divested entities from EVO are achieved within the agreed time and budget, and accountable for adopting the team to changing M&A requirements.
- Accountable for ensuring the M&A team can support newly implemented technologies, methodologies, automation, and service improvements in order to achieve a smooth integration or a smooth exit.
- Accountable for Business Case inputs related to M&A projects initiated by the business including the costing of effort, landscape and delivery capabilities in line with Global architecture standards.
- Accountable for ensuring all M&A project activities meet IT policy guidelines in terms of SoX, IT controls, IT resilience and vulnerability management.
- Deliver M&A initiatives on time and on budget in line with the M&A strategy.
Who you are
- Proven Capability as ERP product manager in large scale, complex M&A projects for multi-functional, multi-national TelCo organizations, and in depth knowledge of ERP systems and business processes and software development lifecycles in the areas of Finance, SCM and HR.
- Management skills, in particular: project management, networking, influence, communications and relationship management with both external and internal stakeholders and vendors. and Leadership skills: aligning multiple stakeholders with different interests, delegation, empowerment and asking for input before making decisions.
- Experience in Business Process is a must and managing offshore shared services center resources, conducting regular service reviews with the focus on continuous improvements, Proven ability to build and expand high performing teams.
- SAP Certified, Detailed and extensive knowledge of all SAP Finance, SCM and HR functionality, as well as SAP S4HANA knowledge and experience, and SCRUM or Agile delivery experience as plus
- Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience in delivering BI/ERP Projects in international environment.
