What you’ll do

The Senior IoT Technology Product Owner (TPO) Analytics and Data manages the interface to the IoT Line of Business (LoB) with special focus to the interface with Business Product Manager associated with your products/platform developments and defining the technology strategy to support the portfolio of products with Architecture and Domain teams.

Also:

  • You will have a team of Technology Product Owners who manage the different Data Products within your portfolio as well as Dashboard development.
  • One of the key challenges for the IoT Analytics and Data Platforms team is to create an innovative and market leading capabiliites where we can make, insight and data available on demand, trustworthy and intelligent, serving a wide range of stakeholders, to meet data-driven decisions and business operations to drive their activities with fresh & accurate insights.
  • You will work with wider practice leads, vendors, technology and operations teams to build the technology plan to inform and deliver the Analytics portfolio and Data as a Product (DaaP) strategy and roadmap.
  • You will also take a leading role in how the IoT Practices will drive the adoption and implementation of Gen AI into our set of Analytical and Data Products, and align/prioritise technology innovation and customer co-creation for the practice.
  • You will negotiate, manage and agree demand into the practice and manage the backlog, finance, security and operational governance alongside LPM and other stakeholders.
  • You will input to the creation of product Strategy, requirements, define features for developments working jointly with the LoB product manager who leads this. You and your team will be accountable to translate these into lower-level product/platform/operating model requirements ensuring these are underpinned by an E2E technical architecture (including user journeys and service models) working with other roles in Technology (e.g. architects and squad leads).
  • You will be aware and responsible for in-life technology management activities encompassing the E2E product architecture (including service, operations etc) in so far that they relate to the 12-month feature level roadmap aligned to the product/portfolio strategy.

  • Ability to innovate and adopt the latest capabilities and awareness of advancing in AI capabilities and how this can be included into the Technology roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of data-driven solutions serving business stakeholders, and proficient with different data layers (ingest, store, process, serve, …)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, team working and influencing skills
  • Ability to build E2E technology plans specific to products and platforms
  • Customer centric focus ideally with experience defining capabilities and features through customer co-creation

Nice to have:

  • Technical product development / product owner experience
  • Relevant product, platforms and technology experience with exposure to data-driven solutions
  • Experience leading and delivering high performance through teams in Telecoms and or Technology industry roles
