Role Profile

You’ll be working on:

  • VBU Area.
  • Work in agile environment with different teams (Development, Business, Operations and Design) to assure the QA coverage.
  • Attend planning meetings, provide feedback on user stories and create acceptance criteria.
  • Create & Execute Manual & Automated Test scenarios /Test cases.
  • Setup test environment and Test Data.
  • Use the agreed Test tools /Trackers & Environments to execute the test scripts and create all test deliverables and results.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc status reports.
  • Capture lessons learnt and best practice to improve test methodologies.

Core Competencies & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of test engineering experience
  • Engineering or Computer Science background is a must
  • Certified ISTQB Foundation level is mandatory
  • Knowledge in Agility, Test-driven Development, Behavior Driven development Automation, Continues Integration, git, Jira, Confluence, Selenium & Appium.
  • Self-motivation and can-do attitude
  • Pleasant communication & time Management skills
  • Able to work independently and should be proactive
  • Experience of manual testing and some automation
  • Develop and run test scripts
  • Analysis the test results
  • Report and track bugs on bug tracking system
  • Agile methodology knowledge
  • Write automation scripts and/or programs using tools such as Selenium and Appium
  • Have knowledge about Devops
  • Strong knowledge in Java
  • Passionate about Open source
  • Certified ISTQB Agile tester is a plus
