Job Qualification：

- Support Wacker GC QA/QC manager to build up the WGC QA/QC system, which mainly including the following tasks:
> Transfer and develop the GC related regulation and plant standards (insulation, pipe support etc.) based on the regulations and/or plant standard in Wacker Germany/USA, and good practice in China;
> Maintain the GC regulation or plant standard on regular basis (welding, static equipment manufacturing, anti-corrosion etc.).
- Support Wacker GC QA/QC manage to implement the supplier qualification and appraisal in cooperation with procurement team, focus on the AVL and AML
- Lead the QA/QC activities in project execution to enforce Wacker procedures, standards and requirements to be followed correctly, which is mainly including:
> Develop the project quality control procedure and ITP plan with project manager in early phase
> Quality support during bidding phase
> Quality inspection management for material fabrication
> Check quality during/after construction, installation and repair, especially corrosion protection and welding are in focus
> Set up and develop relationship to external laboratories and agencies for testing of materials, create related processes and procedures;
> Interpret testing results, provide consulting to customers (like PT, RT, MT) and implement results in WGC reflections;
> Support Engineers for equipment optimization, strong technical support to improve productivity and quality;
> Coordinate regular inspections with internal customer and external authorities;
> Develop and participate in supplier qualification, technical clarification, bidding evaluation, design review etc.;
> Documentation: creation and maintenance of reports and certificates.

Qualification Required

Educational background:
- Bachelor or above in Material Science or related studies
Skills:
- Over 5 years working experience as QA/QC engineer in chemical company, construction company or engineering company (engineering for chemical companies/chemical plants).
- Knowledge of Material, Welding, NDT, surface treatment, supplier management is necessary
- Very good and effective communication skills in English (oral and writing) are mandatory.
- Strong leadership skills
- Familiar with and interest in educating and developing people
- Profound technical knowledge of all materials and equipment production processes and relevant legislation, official specifications, regulations and technical instructions
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
- Strong spirit of teamwork
- Willingness to continuously build knowledge and broaden skills
